Why isn't my site showing in the marketplace?

The marketplace refreshes every couple of hours. If you recently added your site it might take a few.

You don't have any public adzones. If you turn off the "show your ad here" text your site will not show in the marketplace.

Your adzones aren't located at your homepage. If you use a subdomain or other page to display your adzones that isn't your homepage be sure to put the location in the "alternate url" field.

Why is my thumbnail picture of my site not showing or outdated?

ShowYourAdHere.com gets pictures daily from the Alexa.com api. If you want an update to your picture contact alexa or use this tool: http://thumbnails.alexa.com/update_thumbnail

What does "Validating Adzones" mean on my marketplace page.

Your adzones are validated that they are installed on the proper site before displaying them to advertisers.

You should only see the "Validating Adzones" for a second or two however if your site is html heavy or there is a slow connection between our servers it may take a few additional seconds.

This ensures the code is working properly, that your server is live, and that you are indeed the owner of the website.

Can I preapprove ads before they appear on my site?

No, not at the moment. We are looking for the ideal solution for a preapproval process.

Until then we recommend human solutions. For your site description please make it very clear to advertisers the type of ad and advertisers you expect. Make use of the feedback section for each ad.

The publisher does always maintain 100% control over the ads that appear on their site even after an ad is bought. At any time you can modify the ad's image, url, or cancel the ad compeletely.

Cancelling an ad is HIGHLY looked frowned upon (and will likely get you negative feedback from the advertiser) so do set advertiser expectations clearly and use the tools provided and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Where is the option for text links?

ShowYourAdHere.com does not currently support text links. We might in the future based on user feedback.

Where are the stats?

ShowYourAdHere.com is not a statistics company and does not collect statitics or provide them. We do collect the raw pageview counts to maintain the health of our systems but that is all.

Your affiliate company will provide sales stats/pageviews. If you are doing internal promotions google analtycis will provide you with free goal tracking.
